Your Daily Omen

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-10-29

Omoy ("we", "us") runs the website omoy.de. We designed the site to work without collecting personal data. This page explains what that means.

The short version

We do not ask for your name, email address, or any other personal details. There are no accounts, no logins, and no newsletters. You can use every part of Omoy anonymously.

Your questions stay in your browser

When you type a question before drawing tarot cards, that text is processed entirely on your own device. It is never sent to our servers or to anyone else, and it is not saved after you leave the page.

What we store on your device

Omoy uses your browser's localStorage for one small convenience: remembering the zodiac sign you last selected, so your horoscope is ready next time. This value never leaves your device. We do not store your draw history, the cards you received, or your questions. You can remove the saved sign at any time by clearing your browser's site data for omoy.de.

Optional analytics and cookie consent

To understand which pages are useful, we may use Google Analytics 4. Because we follow the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the ePrivacy rules, Google Analytics is not loaded and sets no cookies unless you actively agree in our cookie banner. If you decline or ignore the banner, no analytics scripts run.

If you consent, Google Analytics collects pseudonymous usage data such as pages viewed, approximate region, device type, and browser. We do not combine this with any other information, and we use it only in aggregate to improve the site. Google may process this data outside the EU under its own safeguards; see Google's privacy policy for details.

Withdrawing consent

You can change your mind whenever you like. Use the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of any page to reopen the banner and withdraw consent, or clear the cookies for omoy.de in your browser settings. After withdrawal, analytics will no longer load.

Hosting and server logs

Omoy is hosted by Vercel. Like most hosting providers, Vercel automatically records basic technical information when your browser requests a page, such as your IP address, the time of the request, and the browser type. These server logs are used for security and to keep the site running reliably, and they are kept only for a limited time under Vercel's own policies.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to ask about, correct, or delete personal data relating to you, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Since we do not collect personal data ourselves, there is usually nothing for us to hand over, but we are happy to answer questions.

Changes to this policy

If we change how Omoy handles data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
